Abstract:
This resource guide, developed as part of the DISCOVERY CHANNEL SCIENCE COLLECTIONS series, provides science teachers and students in grades 5-9 with thirty-two pages of classroom tools for studying electricity. Organized alphabetically from Activities to Zingers, each section offers a different perspective on the nature of electrical energy. Demonstrations, Just For Fun, and Science Projects contain hands-on investigations while a Careers page illustrates how physical science is used in the real world.
